Carlsberg Sweden has received two awards at the annual Gyllene Hjulet (Golden Wheel) awards in Sweden. The awards were given to the best sponsorship and event projects in 2004. 29 entries were nominated in six different categories.

Carlsberg received top awards in the categories 'Sports Sponsoring' and 'Business to Consumers' with the sponsorships and events in connection with the Scandinavian Masters as well as Euro 2004.

"With a long term strategy and a well executed sponsorship, Carlsberg has succeeded in enhancing the relationship and loyalty towards its customers and consumers," the jury said.
