On 28 November, the Tuborg TV commercial (TVC) "Steel Teeth" was awarded the prestigious Key Award for the "Beverage - Premiere" Category.
The TVC features a young man who becomes very famous because he can open beer bottles with his steel teeth. He is a star until the appearance of the Tuborg pull-off cap bottle – now everyone can open it and "be a star".
The TVC was launched in order not only to promote and refresh the Tuborg brand image but also to communicate the big innovation on the product as Carlsberg Italia launched the new pull-off cap bottle at the beginning of September this year.
The Key Award is the most important Italian advertising competition aiming at boosting creativity in commercials for TV and Cinema.
