Carlsberg Danmark has introduced the Carlsberg profile bottle to the Danish market in its biggest launch in decades.
The bottle is modelled on the international bottle used in many markets, but has been adapted to suit the Danish return bottle system. It will replace the so-called standard bottle that was introduced in 1949 and is used by all Danish breweries.

"Carlsberg is one of the strongest Danish brands and is also the fastest growing international beer brand in the world. A premium brand like Carlsberg deserves its own elegant bottle that give consumers a higher quality experience," says Carlsberg Danmark marketing vice-president Ken H Andersen.

The bottle is accompanied by a new 24-bottle crate that is lighter and easier to handle.
