Progress in all areas of the business leads to a further upward adjustment of the full-year outlook for operating profit.
- Net revenue climbed 8% to a total of DKK 30.8bn (DKK 28.5bn in the same period of 2005), driven in particular by a positive trend in Western Europe and continued volume growth in both BBH and Asia. In local currencies, net revenue climbed 7%.
- Operating profit rose by 22% to DKK 3,532m (DKK 2,899m in the same period of 2005). This increase is in line with a generally positive trend in the business.
- Carlsberg's share of profit more than doubled to DKK 1,964m, against DKK 793m in the same period of 2005.
- The full-year outlook for operating profit is increased by DKK 150m to approx. DKK 3.9bn, and the outlook for net profit remains unchanged at approx. DKK 1.8bn.
